Your files are processed and stored only on this device.

Scope and operator

This policy covers the WenxuCat iOS and macOS apps, provided by Lingmao Employment (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. The app offers scanning, format conversion, table summaries, and amount checks. No account or sign-in is required. Contact: lingmaoyonggong@163.com.

File processing and uploads

Files and their names, photos, scanned pages, recognized text, tables, and results are processed on your device. WenxuCat does not proactively upload this content to our servers and has no feature that sends files to a remote processing service. Processing does not modify your original files. Recognition uses system features on the device. Review recognized content and calculated results before relying on them.

Permissions and your choices

Camera permission is used only when you choose to scan. If you deny it, file and image selection remain available. System file and photo pickers provide only the content you select. WenxuCat does not request contacts, location, or microphone access. You can revoke camera permission in system settings and cancel file or photo selection at any time.

Retention and deletion

The app does not maintain a persistent file history. Unexported files and results are used for the current app session and are not retained after restarting the app. Some calculation results are also cleared on returning to the app after 24 hours. Use the remove button in the file box to clear the current file and related results. Export important content promptly. Exporting creates a temporary local copy protected by the operating system. The app cleans up temporary export copies when sharing ends, is cancelled, or on the next launch. Copies you save elsewhere through system sharing, original files, and copies held by file providers remain under your and the relevant service's control. The app cannot delete those copies for you.

System storage, photos, and sharing

Selecting an item from system cloud storage or a photo that is not downloaded may require the operating system or file provider to download it. When you choose to export or share with another app or service, that recipient processes the content under its own terms. WenxuCat does not automatically choose a recipient or send files. Choose local storage, such as On My iPhone, On My iPad, or a local folder on your Mac, when appropriate.

Preferences, analytics, and tracking

Completed free trial uses are recorded in secure storage on the device, and your chosen interface language is stored locally. WenxuCat does not upload these records. The app does not require you to provide us with a phone number, email address, password, or other identity information. The current version has no advertising, tracking analytics, or third-party SDKs that automatically upload crash logs. It does not use advertising identifiers for tracking or sell files or processing results. Device-level backup and diagnostics settings are controlled by you and the operating system provider.

Feedback and contact information

Feedback lets you copy our contact address or open your configured email app. WenxuCat does not automatically attach files, logs, or results and does not send email automatically. If you email us, we receive the address, text, and attachments you choose to provide and use necessary information only to respond, investigate the issue, and handle your request. Avoid sending passwords, verification codes, or unrelated sensitive content. Feedback information is retained for as long as needed to handle the issue. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided. We handle requests after verifying them and delete information that is no longer necessary, except where retention is legally required.

Free trial, one-time purchase, and restoration

The app provides five free successful file operations. Failures, cancellations, file selection, and scan preparation do not use the allowance. Completed trial uses are recorded in secure storage on the device to manage the trial. All features can be unlocked through a non-consumable, one-time Apple In-App Purchase. This is not a subscription. Pricing and currency vary by storefront. The final price and availability are shown by the App Store payment sheet. The App Store manages the purchase entitlement associated with the Apple ID used to purchase. Restore Purchases, or use the same Apple ID on another device, to recover valid access. Refunds or revoked entitlements are handled according to the App Store's verified status. The app uses Apple's StoreKit to read and verify necessary product, transaction, and entitlement information for unlocking and restoring features. It does not send us your files. Apple handles payment, billing, Apple ID sign-in, and transaction data. The app does not read your Apple ID password, complete payment card details, or payment credentials. Purchasing and restoring may require an internet connection.

Security and children

The app uses operating system app isolation and file protection. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device, passcode, and exported copies. The app is not intended to collect children's personal information. A guardian may contact us if a child provides unnecessary personal information through feedback.

This website and policy updates

Visiting this policy website sends the network requests needed for the hosting service to serve the page. We have not added advertising or behavior analytics scripts to the page. Website hosting, system storage, and email services may handle necessary network information under their own rules; this does not mean that the app uploads your files. If app features or data handling change, we update this policy and its effective date. New permissions or processing purposes are explained and consent sought where required.
